Everything was wonderfully organised, yet we were completely free to change plans and choose what interested us. He was always ready to help, spoke with local people and translated for us, so we could actually interact with them — he even bargained for us 😂 He shared so much about everyday life in China that we felt we got to know the country from the inside. It was easy, fun and relaxed: like spending time with a good friend, rather than being in a tour group with someone reciting a tired script.
It was a wonderful, relaxed holiday, rather than a rush between sights ☺️
We loved everything from start to finish! We already want to come back next year 😉
